Joining the Preble Futures Middle School Golf Program will provide golf instruction to any GBAPS student in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade. This will be a 5-week class, beginning the week of April 27th. All skill levels are encouraged to participate. Emphasis will be on golf etiquette, skill development, and having fun! This is a great opportunity for players looking to play high school golf in the future or just looking to try a new sport this Spring.
2026 Season
The season will start on Monday, April 27 and end on Friday, May 29.
Practices
Practice will be held one day per week. Players/Families can choose either Mondays or Wednesdays from 5:00-6:15 p.m. at Royal Scot Golf Course. All participants should wear weather-appropriate clothing. Players should bring a water bottle and golf clubs. Please let Coach Taylor know if you do not have golf clubs.
Cost
$70 per player. This covers the cost of practices, range balls, and a team shirt.
$50 for returning players who do not need or want a new team shirt

Tournament Schedule – WI Jr. Golf Tour
There will again be optional tournaments on Fridays, in May, if players are interested in some friendly competition!

There will be up to three different teams, Team A, B and C, based on players’ skill level. Registration and tournament fees will be done completely online. The cost is $30 per tournament. Tournament tee times will start after school, between 3:30-5:30, and the player’s round should be about 2.5 hours. Parents are able and encouraged to walk along, but no caddying.
